The community curators, with input from the Local History Hub, have created this display of images of Ilkley Manor House throughout the years.
Did you know that before we became a museum and art gallery, Ilkley Manor House was actually split into cottages? They were people’s homes and even business premises.
Examine old photos throughout the decades, including images from when the House was derelict and Castle Yard was ‘exceptionally untidy’!
Pore over census records and learn about the social history of this amazing medieval building.
This exhibition runs on weekends from 31 May–6 July. Ilkley Manor House is open on weekends from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free unless stated otherwise; no booking is required. Please check the website and our social media for the latest updates before visiting.
