Castle Collective Open Doors

New Life in Old Cottages !

Nine new businesses are now working in the 150 year old cottages of Ilkley Manor House. Together they make up the Castle Collective and they will be holding the first of their shared Open Doors days on Saturday 22 June, 11-3.

Everyone is very welcome to call in to see the lively work that is happening here, including: photography, book illustrations, film making, art school, jewellery design and making, garden design,  complementary therapies, flower essence making and the office of our local MP.

There will be a plant stall, taster therapy treatments and lots of fun, hands-on activities, including many for children.

Drinks and nibbles will be served, from a gazebo in front of the Manor House.  A free pint of beer may be claimed by each adult attending the Open Doors, and taking a stamped flyer to the Flying Duck, whose micro brewery is generously offering  this beer, to support their new neighbours, the Castle Collective.  Other neighbours of the Castle Collective, the Outside the Box café,  are also supporting the event by offering some of their tasty cakes and goodies.

Doors will be literally open for you to wander round, as you wish, just looking at the businesses and chatting with the people who are now working here.  You will see the current use of the old cottages and absorb the positivity of this vibrant  new centre of business activities in Ilkley.
