Moon Landing @ 50 Workshops – Create a Felt Universe

According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe. Sometimes we think that space and stars are black and white but there is a rainbow of colour out there. Learn how to use wet felting to create your own galaxy, inspired by images of real astronomical observations from the Hubble Telescope. Your galaxy will then be added to a collaborative art installation which will be shown in the Moon @50 exhibition at Ilkley Manor House.
