Sir Peter Middleton (c. 1585-1645) owned extensive estates in Ilkley and across North Yorkshire. Living through a period of profound political and religious upheaval, his life offers a fascinating insight into these turbulent times.
Arrive at Ilkley Manor House at 10:15am for a hot drink and biscuit. The talk begins at 10:30am, lasts roughly an hour and includes time for questions at the end.
