5th Oct 2024 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Join in these FREE cyanotype workshops at Ilkley Manor House on Saturday, 5 October. There are several short sessions to choose from.
Artist Zoe Platt of Short and Few will introduce visitors to cyanotype, a camera-less form of photography using UV light to create striking blue-and-white images inspired by objects found around the House.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy this process, which takes around 20 minutes, to create one or two cyanotype prints to take home. Aprons will be provided to ensure a mess- free experience!
Zoe is an experienced art tutor who loves to inspire people to develop a curiosity for what the arts can be about. She says, “Cyanotypes really do feel like magic when you see the process unfold, and this event will complement the Solar Gallery and ‘Landscapes of Identity’ exhibitions currently on display at Ilkley Manor House nicely”.
