A team of VOLUNTEERS
For many years The Friends have kept the Manor House going as part of the Ilkley community. They have been a registered charity since 1995 and still run a range of talks and events in the building. They are continuing to work alongside the Ilkley Manor House Trust and are represented on the new board, although the two groups are distinct and perform different functions

Charitable Aims:
The education of the public by promotion, support, assistance, maintenance and improvement of the Manor House Art Gallery and Museum of Castle Yard, Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
The Friends of the Manor House look forward to working in partnership with the Ilkley Manor House Trust to promote education and learning programmes and in the creation of a ‘local history of Ilkley’ exhibition proposed for the building. The Friend organise their own family fun days at the Manor House, tours, lectures and coffee mornings. Details can be found on their website.
