We are delighted to welcome families and younger visitors back to the house. As well as this page there is also further information about visiting and getting to the the Manor House on the main VISIT the MANOR HOUSE page.

What will there be for children?

Unfortunately, we have to take away many of the usual children’s activities like the dressing up clothes and toys as these are difficult for us to clean but we will have other things for children to do.

We will have a Manor House giveaway bag with activities to do in the house, pens and paper for children to use and take home with them.

We have an outdoor puzzle trail designed for families.

How are we keeping you safe?

There will be:

  • Hand sanitiser at the door
  • Outdoor handwashing units for adults and children
  • Masks will be available for sale if you forget yours
  • We have increased our cleaning regime

Social distancing

You will need to maintain a 2m distance from visitors in the Manor House and we will be using signage and arrows chalked on the floor to help you.

Toilets

We are going to open one toilet cubicle but access will need to be requested  via a steward. We will have a notice in the toilet saying that the toilets are disinfected regularly and also offering the user the ability to disinfect the toilet before they use the facilities.

The toilet is not fully accessible and the nearest fully accessible toilet is in the main car park. For directions please ask a steward.

We regret that our baby changing facilities are not available at this time.

Food and Drink

If you wanted to bring your own tea and coffee or even a picnic we do have seating out in the courtyard for you to use.

Buggies and Prams

Unfortunately there is no room for buggies or prams in the Manor House while we have the one way system in place.

For further information about visiting the house please go to our Reopening of the Manor House page.
