The aerial view of Ilkley shows how central the Ilkley Manor House is to the centre of Ilkley. Its position between the Riverside Gardens and the parish church confirms the sites’ importance for Ilkley. The building is on top of the site of a Roman Fort, a scheduled monument, and a site of huge historical significance.
