Interested in volunteering at Ilkley Manor House?

The beautiful Grade 1 medieval Ilkley Manor House is a volunteer-led charity, entirely reliant on the voluntary efforts of local people to keep the doors open so the public can enjoy the House’s vibrant arts and heritage programme.

In the Spring of 2021 we were awarded Volunteering Bradford’s ‘People Can Make a Difference’ quality mark, which demonstrates that we have everything in place to make sure that volunteers have a great volunteering experience with us – so it is the perfect time to consider joining the team.

Opportunities include:

• welcoming the public to the House at weekends
• being involved in running events and performances
• helping in our heritage sensory garden and with small maintenance tasks in the House and gardens
• lending your expertise in other ways such as marketing, copywriting and general administration
