Join photoILKLEY and Ilkley Manor House for an inspiring, hands-on fashion photography workshop led by Xanthe Hutchinson — the photographer behind the Iconic Ilkley campaign.

An art director and fashion photographer, Xanthe brings deep experience across premium fashion and beauty, with work published internationally (including titles such as British Vogue, Vogue Italia, Dazed, i-D and more) and a strong teaching practice as a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Arts University.

This workshop is designed to demystify the process of creating strong fashion images — from concept and mood references to lighting choices, working with a model, and building confident results quickly. What you’ll learn:

• Pre-production and mood board creation
• Fashion photography lighting techniques
• Working with and directing a model
• Creating images in groups
• Different set-ups and styling approaches
• Professional feedback on your work

Who it’s for:

• Photographers who want to level up their fashion/portrait work — from keen beginners (comfortable using a camera) to more experienced shooters wanting to sharpen lighting, direction, and editorial thinking.
