Spring Fair Returns for its 3rd Edition!

On the hunt for plants to brighten up your home? Love nature and learning about what grows (and how)? Looking for a free, fun way to entertain the kids? Then the Ilkley Manor House Spring Fair is perfect for you!

Join us 10am–4pm on Saturday, 9 May, when the courtyard will be buzzing with activity.

Plant Swap & Stall

Donate, buy, or swap plants at the Ilkley Manor House stall, bring along healthy plants or seedlings you’d like to swap or donate, and browse a gorgeous selection grown in our own medieval garden. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, it’s a brilliant chance to share tips, learn something new, and take home a little bit of green.

Children’s Planting Stall

Children can also enjoy hands-on fun at our children’s planting stall. Get your hands dirty, plant your own seeds, and learn how things grow. It’s a fun, free activity designed especially for young gardeners; come along, dig in, and take home a little piece of spring.

Music & Refreshments

After exploring the stalls, relax in the courtyard with refreshments and live music. Enjoy the spring atmosphere and soak up the community spirit!

About the Fair

The Spring Fair is a celebration of community, nature, and sustainability. It’s a chance to connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts, inspire the next generation of green-fingered gardeners, and enjoy a lovely day out in the beautiful setting of the Manor House courtyard.

No booking is required for any of the activities, and the House will be open as usual for you to explore.
