Ilkley Manor House Trust, a registered charity operating as an Arts Council accredited museum, gallery and live venue is seeking an individual to support weekend opening and ad hoc events at the Manor House. This role would suit someone who enjoys enabling volunteers and engaging with visitors to ensure that they gain the most from their shift or visit.
You will open and close the building, support safe operations on site, welcome visitors, promote the programme of events, coordinate, induct and train volunteers, address visitor and volunteer feedback and act as duty manager during opening hours and events. You will act as first aider and fire warden when on duty (training provided).
Hours: Weekend working (10.30am–4.30pm, up to 42 days per year); Approx. 2 flexible hours per week for volunteer coordination; and ad hoc event hours to support duty management at events, in line with the agreed programme
Job-share considered.
Pay: £13.35 per hour | Leave: 5.6 weeks pro rata.
