1st Aug 2025 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join us as we celebrate Yorkshire Day on Friday, 1 August and continue the fun throughout the weekend!
On Friday, 1 August, the House will be open from 2–4pm for family fun and two exhibitions; Friends of Ilkley Rail Station‘s Keeping Track, and Poetry and Image by the Solar Gallery.
Celebrate God’s Own Country with family-friendly activities, including making a paper Yorkshire Rose and playing with traditional games and toys in the courtyard.
Head upstairs to see the Solar Gallery’s current theme, with artworks created in a variety of mediums.
In the Western Gallery, Friends of Ilkley Rail Station are marking 160 years of railway history in Ilkley–learn about its impact on the town, including its expansion and the effects of the Beeching cuts in the 1960s.
The children’s arts and crafts will continue throughout the weekend, from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 August. Keeping Track is on until 24 August, and the last day to see Poetry and Image is 31 August.
This event will run from the afternoon on Yorkshire Day on Friday, 1 August and throughout the weekend of 2-3 August. Ilkley Manor House is open on weekends from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free unless stated otherwise; no booking is required. Please check the website and our social media for the latest updates before visiting.
