LOAN BOXES: NEOLITHIC

This teaching resource can be split across three lessons. Local sites to visit have also been included.

The teaching pack structure includes:

• What is Prehistory?
• The South Pennines Stone Age
• The South Pennines Bronze Age
• The South Pennines Iron Age and the end of the Prehistoric period

Each section comes with its own activity ideas which relate to items within the teaching collection.

The Neolithic artefact box contains:

• A Neolithic pot
• Bone needle
• Flint scraper
• Pigment set
